Yes, according to Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press. It was supposed to be the first NFL preseason game held in China, and it was bigger than big: the Seattle Seahawks versus the New England Patriots on August 8, 2007 - one year to the day before the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Olympics - at Workers’ Stadium in Beijing.
